The Yaskawa U1000 is a high-performance "Matrix" drive designed for low harmonics and full power regeneration. By eliminating the DC bus, it provides a compact solution for clean power and energy recovery.
Technical Features:
Overload: Dual-rated. Heavy Duty (150% for 60s); Normal Duty (120% for 60s).
Energy Regeneration: Unlike standard drives, the U1000 returns braking energy directly to the grid, slashing utility costs.
Low Harmonics: Achieves <5% THDi without external filters, meeting IEEE 519 standards and protecting sensitive electronics.
Matrix Technology: Direct AC-to-AC conversion with a unity power factor of 0.98+.
Integrated Safety: Built-in SIL3 PLe STO functional safety.
Sustainability: Eco-friendly design with a 10-year maintenance-free service life.
