As the first edition, the exhibition successfully drew an impressive 31,719 textile professional buyers from 39 countries and regions, generating trade opportunities across 7 fully packed halls. With 900 global companies and brands showcasing their latest innovations, the event is positioning itself as a new powerhouse in the global textile and garment industry.

The resounding success of BTKG 2026 was driven by the collaborative leadership of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA) and Inforchain Digital Technology Co., Ltd. Together, they have reinforced this event’s position as a vital platform for

M. Farzad Shahabuddin, Director of PACIFIC RSF ASSOCIATES LTD, shared that PACIFIC has spent nearly four decades building a strong presence in the Bangladesh textile machinery industry. During BTKG 2026, KYANG YHE also connected with numerous buyers from across the industry, viewing the exhibition as an excellent platform to showcase its machinery and strengthen market presence.
These shares fully reflected the industry’s perspective, especially amid the current global economic uncertainty, as companies continued to express strong confidence and positive expectations toward the Bangladesh textile market.
During the opening ceremony, Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Minister of Commerce, Industries, and Textiles & Jute, also emphasized that the government would accelerate provisional approval systems, allowing investors to begin operations while permanent clearances are still being processed, further strengthening market confidence and investment momentum.
